Club Handicap Knockout Championship
Introduced in 2017 following the demise of the Mail on Sunday knockout, this competition is open to all clubs in the county who can enter a team of 5 golfers with handicaps of 18 or lower.
The full rules can be found in the County Competition Regulations and a summary is listed below:
Playing handicap is restricted to a maximum of 18
Playing format is singles Matchplay with full handicap allowance
All players in the final must have played in one earlier round
Tied matches are decided by sudden death playoff between player 5 from each team
The draw will take place at the end of March
Entry is restricted to one team per club
The competition will run from 1st April to 31st October
The final will be played on County Finals Day along with the Mid-Handicap final at a neutral venue.
Specific “play by” dates will be laid down when the draw is made and they must be adhered to
Entry fee is £20 per team

The Semi-Finals have been played and the final will be played between Aspley Guise and Woburn Sands and The Bedford. The match will be played on County Finals day, 22nd October, at a neutral venue.
The quarter-finals have now been completed and the Semi-Finals have been drawn.
The first round has now been completed. The quarter final draw was drawn on the 10th May.
