Paul Fletcher Trophy results

Paul Fletcher was a popular and successful County Captain for five years in the 1980's and a member of Bedford & County Golf Club. He sadly died tragically young and a competition has been held annually at Bedford & County to honour Paul's memory and to raise much needed funds for St John's Hospice, Moggerhanger.

This years competition was held on Sunday 17th April with 64 players taking part. The Scratch Trophy winner was Scott Armitage (John O'Gaunt) with a score of 70. He and his brother, Gavin also won the pairs stableford competition with 43 points from, in second place, Richard Barlow and Ian Butcher on 39 points. Third place went to Tony Straccia and Tony Moliterno with 38 points.

Scott is pictured after receiving his trophy from current Bedford & County Captain, Clive Allen.

Most importantly, £1,118.00 was raised for the Sue Ryder charity, St. John's Hospice, Moggerhanger. Thank you all.
