This proved along day on the course for Bedfordshire with a 4 & 1/2 hours weather delay. The singles team were Annabel Pitts who narrowly lost on the 18th, Sophie Mills and Sophie Hillier showed their maturity & experience to post wins for the team. Freya Daniels & Steph Scott lost their matches playing wonderful golf. Young rookie Georgia Staroscik match was a thriller with Georgia having a dream start going 5 up and playing like a professional on the course. The experience head of Sharon Lockman came back fighting with birdies and finally beating Georgia on the 18th hole. A invaluable experience that Georgia will take with her into the rest of the County match week. Well played to all the team. The final result was Bedfordshire losing 3 & 1/2 to 5 & 1/2.
