Ladies Friday 24th June

On day 5, the win would be decided between Norfolk and Suffolk, so out of our hands and so playing Essex we had all to prove and nothing to lose. The foursomes finished 1 to 2 with the two losses from Helen and Steph, Gill and Kat. Annabel and Sophie played wonderfully to give us a better position at lunchtime. The signals started with our champion going out first and her last time this year. Meeting an in form Harriet, Annabel lost on 15th. However, and yes, you will be amazed, we didn't lose another match. Sally halved and all the rest won.

WE BEAT ESSEX 5.5 to 3.5.

This was the first time we have beaten Essex at CMW and the team were justifiably proud of this achievement.

Well done to all the squad on a great finish to this week with two wins on day 4 and 5.
