Ladies Junior County Week 2016
A strong start from the Bedfordshire young guns winning their opening match against a very strong Suffolk side. County Champion and junior Captain Annabel Pitts lead the charge with a 6&5 win. Georgia Staroscik was out second and although played excellent golf lost her match. Freya Daniels stormed to a lead of 5up and finally finished her match on the 17th. Natasha Yesinkas went out 4th but was up against a strong Suffolk player and lost her match after a gallant effort. Caitlin Thomas, Bedfordshire's 'pocket rocket' won her match 4 & 3. Last but by no means least was Catherine (the Great) George who battled back from 3 down to secure a half and an overall win for Bedfordshire. A fantastic start under the guidance of County Junior Organiser Christine Goode.
Still to play to play for Bedforshire will be Elenor Thomas and Jennifer Tocha.
