Ladies Final Day Scorcher

It's the last day of East Region Junior finals at Cambridgeshire Menzies Golf Club.   The Bedfordshire girls had very tough matches yesterday against  strong Hertfordshire and Norfolk teams. The team put in gallant effort and despite the losses they will come away with invaluable experience. Thirteen year old Jen Tocha had her first outing for Bedfordshire and held her own against an eight handicapper.  Jen showed great mental attitude and should be very proud of her performance. She never stopped smiling throughout and it was infectious to watch.

This morning the girls are out against Cambs & Hunt with an early tee time start of 08:30 led out by Annabel, then Freya, Georgia, Natasha, Caitlin and Catherine.

Thanks to Christine Goode for ensuring we had a well organised event and for looking after the girls so well. Also, to all the supporters and helpers who have been here to cheer the girls on, we couldn't have done it without you. A big thank you to Madame President Kitty Nulty who has been here throughout, not only acting as starter for the matches but also offering support and encouragement.
