Ladies East Region Championship 2016

Norfolk County continues their winning streak this year in the East Region.  As the story goes, success breaths success.  Durability and consistency have proven to be two of the most valued traits for Norfolk county this season.  Not only has Norfolk shown how strong they are as a team but there's also strength and depth in individual performances.  Young Amy Taylor from Bawburgh Golf Club in Norfolk playing of 1 handicap wins the East Regions Championship 2016 at the Bedfordshire GC played on Monday 5th September.  In tough and rainy conditions in the morning, Amy returns a card of gross 67 (-3) and continues the form by dropping only 3 shots in the afternoon gross 73 (+3).  Congratulations Amy.

Runner up and 5 shots back was Sally Shayler from the Bedfordshire GC shooting level par 70 in the morning and 75 in the afternoon. Excellent score also.   Steph Scott from Aspley Guise GC won best nett with gross scores of 77 & 78.  Well played ladies.

Amy was presented with her prize by Bedfordshire President Kitty Nulty.
