Bradleys Quality Dry Cleaning Ltd

Proud sponsors of the Bedfordshire County Golf Association.(BLCGA)

A message from Howard:

"2012 marked the 180th year of Bradleys expertise in the textile and textile aftercare trade and since the 'modern business' being founded in 1912 by my Grandfather Bernard Bradley, much has changed in this field, (and in the world in general of course). We still operate under the ethos that Bernard Bradley set the company up with “Do Unto Others As You Would Be Done By” which in modern English translates as treating others as you would like to be treated; something we still hold dear to our hearts. We treat all of our customers with respect as individuals and never take your custom for granted.

For those who have been watching “Wild Things” on Sky one you might have noticed that at the end of each challenge, the contestants were filthy dirty and gunge covered. Bradleys were delighted to have been entrusted with the cleaning and care of all the outfits, and each day’s filming, we made sure that they were as clean as new...."

"...Our handed down expertise means that we are never afraid to tackle items that most high street dry cleaners are afraid to do. There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to cleaning your garments, be they mass produced or bespoke.

Being an independent specialist business with a time served experienced team with knowledge gained over the decades mean that we can design an appropriate cleaning process for your items, and they can be left with us with confidence. We can clean your favourite handbag as well as the dress itself. We can clean everything from your favourite handbag such as Mulberry to your most treasured dress. Our cleaning processes are not just restricted to items of clothing, as well as soft furnishings and curtains, we can clean tapestries, even old fragile ones.

We look forward to providing you with our good old fashioned service, without compromise at our unit shop."

Howard Bradley

Bradleys Quality Dry Cleaning tested suitability for cleaning methods for Ian Poulter when he was designing his own range of "unique" clothing for sale and are delighted to have cleaned Katie Gaddesden, now Mrs Poulter, wedding dress.

They also did the dresses for the Sheila's Wheels adverts.

This was an extensively smoke damaged Boer War Tunic which Bradleys fully restored.

These photos show Bradleys working on just a section, the blackened god braid

This photo after been restored.

Here are two photos, before and after of a 1940s wedding dress made from parachute silk that was poorly stored since the war, and got discoloured and mildewed.

This phote shows what Bradleys achieved with the above dress

We are also proud to have been the cleaner of choice for the Duchess of Bedfords wedding dress

Duchess of Bedford

Royal Shakespeare Society (RSC) who have had their dresses hand delivered to us for cleaning.  All very high value items and worn by the great and the good!!
