County Under16’s v Essex

31^st March 2016 at Woodford G.C.

Due to back to back fixtures we only able to field 8 players for this fixture.

Essex put out a strong team with handicaps from 1-8 with the majority off 5.

The foursomes went to Essex 3-1, Shea Morris and JR Ellis winning against a pair playing off 1 and 5 handicap.

A great performance in the singles resulted in Bedfordshire winning 4½ - 3½.

Given that the lower handicaps were unavailable, this was a very encouraging start to the season.
