Finals Day Winners

Although the start at Dunstable Downs was delayed due to fog, a lovely bright day saw Scott Armitage and Mat Hill win their semi-finals, Morgan Darnell and Jack Hawksby missing out on a place in the final.  In the afternoon's final Mat's consistency paid dividends as he gradually established a winning margin over Scott.  Morgan missed out on 3rd place, with Jack edging ahead in the 3rd/4th place match.

In the mid handicap final between John O'Gaunt GC and The Millbrook GC, the match was narrowly won by John O'Gaunt who became the second club win this prestigious trophy in consecutive years. (Aspley Guise won in 2000 and 2001).  

Congratulations to all the competitors and many thanks to Dunstable Downs Golf Club for their hospitality and presenting the course in excellent condition.
