Estelle Klausner & Bridie Quinn wins the Sue Paterson Salver

A wonderful turnout today at Mount Pleasant GC for the Sue Paterson Salver.  This is an annual competition where a junior and a lady play 18 hole Foursomes. This competition was introduced many years ago by Sue to encourage junior girls into competitive golf by teaming them up with a lady.

Thank you to all the ladies who played with the junior girls as this experience will be invaluable to them. We certainly have a lot of great talent & future stars coming through. This is the best turnout for many years & thank you to Christine Goode, our County Junior Organiser for encouraging so many to get involved. Thank you to Sue for her support on the day, meeting & greeting & helping with running the competition. Thank you also to Mount Pleasant GC for their support & hospitality. The course was in fantastic conditions & dinner was delicious.

The winners were Estelle Klausner & Bridie Quinn, runners up were Jessica Sporle & Jacky Levinson & in third place was Annabel Philips & County Champion, Annabel Pitts. See you all next year
