Georgia Staroscik wins Bedfordshire Junior County Championship

The junior County Championship was held at Leighton Buzzard Golf Course on Sunday 23rd July. Georgia Staroscik from Leighton Buzzard Golf Club wins the Championship for 2017 on a fantastic score of 76 gross, dropping only 3 shots on a tricky course & cutting her handicap to 4.  Georgia will now go through to the English Girls County Champion of Champions tournament at Woodhall Spa on Saturday 16th September. 

Estelle Klausner from South Beds GC won the best nett on 73.  

Estelle & Georgia will also be entered for the 'The Telegraph Vitality Junior Championship' and if their scores qualify from the national leader board, they would win with a chaperon to the 2017 final at 'Quinta do Lago on the 9th to 11th November.  The prize includes flights, accommodation, a coaching experience at 'Quinta do Lago' & tickets to the gala dinner. We wish both girls the best of luck that they get that call. 

Caitlin Thomas from John O'Gaunt GC won best under 16 age group & Roisin Scanlon from Bedfordshire GC won the best under 14 age group. Congratulations to all the girls who took part.
