The County U18 team got off to a good start in the England Golf South East Group U18 League at Thetford GC on Sunday 24th May, 2015.
Norfolk and Suffolk both put out strong teams and the matches were close all afternoon. On a very nice course and in weather that went from warm and sunny to chilly and wet (and back to warm and sunny) our team played very well to achieve a win over Suffolk and a half with Norfolk. This is a good start to the campaign which still holds triangular matches wirth Norfolk and Suffolk at Bury St. edmunds and finally at Colmworth and North Beds. A place in the final at The Dyke in Sussex awaits the league winners.
