An interesting game that straddled two days due to a deluge of rain on the Friday afternoon which meant that for most of the matches there were 7-9 holes still to play as matches were suspended on the Friday evening after rain caused extensive flooding. Whilst play was alive the two foursomes had established leads and Chanel was looking very pumped, whilst Annabel and Georgia were glad for the overnight rest. On return to the course in the morning Caitlin and Luca continued their unbeaten run by wrapping up their point on 17, whilst Laura and Sue took it to the last putt on 18 before taking their point against an experienced pair from Suffolk. Alice Barlow was too strong for Annabel on the day, whilst Georgia lost a close match that she could have won on another occasion. Chanel continued a great effort by finishing her match early on 15 at the furthest reach of the course. This was the start of a very long day!
