Home win in County Fourball

In contrast to the torrential rain of last year's County Fourball the sun shone on Leighton Buzzard Golf Club where the County Fourball was played on 31st July. The course was in excellent condition and local knowledge helped the eventual winners overcome an excellent score of 47 points from Shane Bentley and John Latimer in the morning round. Shane and John only managed 41 points in the afternoon and their total of 88 points was narrowly beaten by the 89 points of Ben Irvine and Greg White (45 am, 44 pm).  Well played gentlemen.
