Pre-Season Squad Day
Saturday 25th February the Bedfordshire County first team met at Luton Hoo for their pre-season get together.
The lads played 18 holes Stableford in tough conditions with Norman Cilliars and Jack Hawksby running out winners with 35 points.
Nearest the pin prizes were won by this year’s captain Scott Armitage , Curtis Sage-Passant and County president David Hawkins.
Following the golf a meeting was held to discuss the first teams plans for the season ahead.
A few additions have been made to the squad this season hoping to increase the competition to represent Bedfordshire.
On Saturday 11th March the First team will be playing a three way foursomes match v the County Seniors and the under 18s at The Millbrook golf club.
This had been added to the calendar to bring the county sides closer to together in a competitive enviroment and to look at foursomes pairings before our two pre arranged friendlies against Cambridgeshire on Sunday 19th March at The Millbrook golf club and against Northamptonshire on Sunday 9th April at Wellingborough golf club.
Everyone involved is looking forward to getting the season off to a good start, after all the hard work they put into last year.
