The Bedford Golf Club was in excellent condition to host a thrilling finish to the U14 and U12 Championships, with both climaxing in a playoff.  In the under 14s Aidan Abbott (The Millbrook) and Alex Robbins (Aylesbury Vale) were tied on 81, 2 ahead of Tom Hicks (Aspley Guise and Woburn Sands). The playoff took place on the 18th with Aidan holing his par putt to win on the 1st extra hole.

In the U12s, Connor Talentire (The Bedford) who was playing in his first county competition was tied with Harley Allan (Mowsbury) on a score of 88.  Connor triumphed with a bogey 5 as Harley's put just slipped by the hole.

Well done to everybody who played - there were some excellent performances including an excellent Nett 64 for George Stevenson
