Get into golf

Find and book an activity near you

Get into golf is a national initiative supported by Sky sports, aimed at getting more people playing and enjoying the sport. Get into golf courses run up and down the county at multiple clubs. The courses run usually between 4-6 weeks and cost around £25, although this differs by club. Courses should take you through all aspects of the game, teaching you the basics to get you course ready.

Most courses progress into an improvers or intermediate classes where you begin to hone your technical skills and develop your course management ability. These follow-ons are a great stepping stone for new golfers to manage the transition from the practice ground to the golf course.

The great benefit of undertaking a Get into golf course is you’ll meet people who are the same stage in their golfing development as you. Golf is such a social game that it’s important to make friends to enjoy the sport with and a Get into golf course will help you do this. Have a look at the Pathway pic below to see how you'd progress though the game on a Get into golf course.
