Bedfordshire Schools Golf
Bedfordshire County Golf are pleased to work closely with Bedfordshire Schools to give more opportunities to help combine the sport with studies.
Bedfordshire Schools Golf activities cater for all levels of age and experience in golf from young beginners as young as Year 1 or 2 with no handicap, to Scratch handicap golfers.
Bedfordshire Schools run County Championships in the following categories: Scratch, Handicap, High Handicap and a Rookie beginner event for both boys and girls. All Championships have Boys, Girls and Team trophies and prizes. Individual entries are also included as well.
Selections are then made for players to represent Bedfordshire Schools in Regional and National Championships with a Handicap County team playing in the George McPartlin Team Trophy against Hertfordshire, Middlesex and Essex Schools.
Parents or guardians of juniors are always advised to take an entry form into school and ask permission for an authorised absence and to represent the School in a County Golf Championship.
