Free Taster Session
A great way to find out if golf is the game for you.
You’ll get together with other beginner girls to relax and play fun games. PGA professional coaches will lead the activities and Girls Golf Rocks Ambassadors from local clubs and the county girls’ squad will be on hand to help and encourage you. Any equipment you need will be provided. You’ll also have plenty of time to chat and make new friends over refreshments.
You can wear what you like as long as it’s comfy and keeps you warm. Trainers are fine for footwear.
If you enjoy yourself then you can come and join us for girls-only group coaching.
Girls who enjoy the taster session can book on a six-week coaching course for £35. This price includes a US Kids 9-iron, and Girls Golf Rocks items including a polo shirt, goodie bag and water bottle.
All coaching is provided by a PGA Professional and in the sixth week of the course the girls will put their skills into action out on the golf course. The newcomers will be supported by girls from their county and club who have been recruited and trained as ambassadors to inspire and encourage the new players.
Fun beginner events will then be held for the girls over the summer.
