Past County President Alvan Davies

Alvan signed off as Bedfordshire Captains President at his home club, Bedfordshire. Supported by his wonderful wife Daphne, Wing Commander Alvan regaled the Beds Past Captains and Guests with the history of his golfing career in Bedfordshire. From being taught how to play by his Support Clerk through his membership at Beds & County GC, to Biddenham and finally the magnificent Bedfordshire GC. Meeting Minutes 2021

BLCGA meetings are chaired by the County Captain.  Meetings take place quarterly and are attended by members of the BLCGA Executive Committee and a nominated representative from each of the County's 21 affiliated clubs.   However, the Captains' meeting & the Open Forum welcomes the Lady Captains & their Vice Captains plus their Club Voting Representative to meet the County Committee and are given an opportunity to ask questions & share ideas within the County to help support the members and grow the game for ladies in the County.  

The AGM is open to all members of Bedfordshire Ladies County Golf Association and this meeting is chaired by the County President. The next AGM will take place in February/March 2021
