Coronavirus – (Covid 19) Impact on Bedfordshire County Golf

In line with guidance from the Government to avoid where possible ‘social gathering’ and non-essential travel, we will be postponing all Bedfordshire County Golf Ltd organised events until Mid-May 2020. This includes all adult and junior competitions, matches and squad training sessions that fall between now and this date. We are also postponing all knock-out and League competitions, Team Organisers have been advised of this via email. This decision has not been taken lightly and we must work to ensure the health and wellbeing of our members, players, staff and volunteers as well as all of those who work at our host golf clubs.

We will continuously review the situation and advise whether an extension is required or not. We will also during this period debate whether postponed events can be rescheduled.

The South Eastern Group have also announced that their Junior Championship due to be held on 27th May has been cancelled. They have also suspended the South East Group League and thus matches are cancelled. This will be reviewed by them by the end of May.

The Eastern Counties Foursomes (Seacroft) has also been cancelled.
