On a wind swept two days Dunstable Downs Golf Club hosted the County and Colts Championship.
A big thanks to Head Green Keeper George Little whose team supplied the players with a fantastic course.
Also Darren Charlton, Head Professional, for all his help on a difficult second day and for choosing some sensible pin positions.
Margaret Seabrook, County President, thanked Dunstable Downs and the members for hosting the County and Colts Championship. She also thanked the catering and bar staff for looking after all the Officials and Players over a long two days. Margaret went on to commend David Corfan, Martin McDermott, David Hawkins, Breege Traynor, Bill Levinson and Mike Smith for administering and refereeing the competition.
Colts Champion was Jack Manley (222) of Beds & County who pipped Finlay Cummings (223) into second place.
However the weekend belonged to Paul Kenna, a 22 year veteran of County Golf who pipped Rob Sutton of DDGC and Chris Spooner of DDGC into second and third places.
