Ladies Knockout Foursomes Winners

Congratulations to Tina Ansell-Carter and Sarah Johnson (Cainhoe Wood) who were winners of the 2025 Women's Knockout Foursomes Competition. 

In a competition that has been running since April, and having completed 4 knockout rounds to get to the final, Sunday's final match didn't disappoint. Hosted at Bedfordshire Golf Club which was in great condition, the final was a very close contest between Tina Ansell-Carter and Sarah Johnson (Cainhoe Wood) and Jacky Levinson and Fay Glynn (Dunstable Downs). On a lovely sunny afternoon, the match was close all the way.  No more than one hole separated the pairs at any point and, after 18 holes, the match was all square. Extra holes ensued and on the 20th hole the eventual winners were Tina and Sarah. Congratulations to them and commiserations to the runners-up Jacky and Fay.

Thanks to all players (31 pairs) who participated in this year’s competition. Thanks also goes to Bedfordshire Golf Club for giving courtesy on the day.
