Under 12s County Squad Development

 After last years successes which included the U14 and U18 reaching their respective finals the majority of the U14 squad moved up to the U16s.   In order to fill the void left by these players the County introduced a series of 9 holes competitions throughout the summer.    Over 40 players attended the four events held at The Bedfordshire, South Beds, Colmworth and Stockwood Park.    From these events 12 players were selected to receive additional coaching throughout the winter and spring.   Two inter county matches have been organised home and away with Norfolk in the summer with the aim of some of these young players becoming future players for the U14 team.   I would like to thank the Clubs that have supported this development as it will be crucial for the future of County Golf.
