The 2022 Boys championship was played at John O'Gaunt GC in hot sunny dry conditions. the recent introduction of fairway irrigation mitigated some of the bounciness, but as usual the course still presented many challenges. The U18s was won by Owyn Pepper-Thompson with a very creditable 156. The U16s was retained by Connor Tallentire with two excellent rounds of 75 to take the Boys County Championship.
