We were fortunate enough to be invited to play The Berkshire Golf Club for this event and the match took place on the Blue course – a very testing track. Once again the BB&O team proved to be formidable opponents and we only managed to get the one point from all ten games. This one point proved to be a very impressive one as it was our newcomer – Ian Glantz – from South Beds Golf Club that managed a 2&1 win over the BB&O County Champion Phil Sewell. Well done Ian. Tim Bevan also put up a good fight but finished up losing 1 down. The rest of the team were not so fortunate and we are all looking forward to the next two matches – Essex at home and Middlesex away – where we have big hopes of getting a positive result.
