County Handicap Championships

The County Handicap Championships were held on Sunday 8th June 2014 at Aspley Guise & Woburn Sands Golf Club. The weather was fine with warm sunshine and light winds which was appreciated by the 46 competitiors, ahead of the 36 holes. The course which was also host to the County & Colts Championships that weekend as part of the Clubs Centenary celebrations, was in great condition and they were perfect hosts all weekend.

The 2014 Handicap Champion was Craig Palmer (South Beds) who shot a great net 65 in the morning to go with a 77 in the afternoon to finish on a net level par score of 142. This was one shot better than the runner-up Dave Bromley (Chalgrave Manor).
