With the three leagues now decided we are looking forward to a competitive Tavistock Trophy Final between teams from Bedford & County, John O'Gaunt and Beadlow Manor.

 

The final will be held at Beadlow Manor Golf Club on Friday 25th August - first tee time is 09.32.

 

The Tavistock Trophy is a strokeplay competition played between teams of six juniors. The two best gross scores and two net scores from the other players in each team count. This is an interesting format which usually results in matches going down to the last players on the course. This year, Group 1 was very close with Bedford & County coming out winners over Aspley Guise. The two teams could not be seperated on match points so it was the number of strokes taken which decided the league.
